Carnival JiJi Asian Kitchen Reviews
JiJi Asian Kitchen gave us one of the most memorable dining nights of our Carnival cruise. From the moment we sat down, the wait staff explained that meals are served family-style, with big portions meant for sharing. They guided us on how many dishes to order, and it felt reassuring to know that if anyone had allergies, they would get a separate safe menu. The whole approach made the dinner feel thoughtful and inviting.
Dinner was where JiJi truly shined. The portions were generous, and the flavors were richer and more layered than we expected. I couldn’t get enough of the slow-braised pork belly, which paired beautifully with the refreshing Green Tea Martini. Daniel’s favorite was the pepper beef, tender and spiced perfectly, and he washed it down with a crisp Kirin beer that complemented the meal so well. We also tried the Hakka noodles as a side, and they were so good we’d recommend them to anyone dining here.
We also made sure to stop by for lunch, since it’s offered as part of the cruise and has its own special charm. The setup felt casual and fun, and it was a nice change of pace from the evening service. I really enjoyed the spring rolls and Kung Pao chicken noodles, while Daniel’s favorite was the Dan Dan noodles with their bold kick. Sharing everything made the meal even more enjoyable, and lunch quickly became one of those easy, satisfying stops during the day.
Other cruisers we met shared similar thoughts. Some loved JiJi for its included lunch, especially dishes like shrimp dumplings and potstickers that made for an easy midday treat. Others raved about dinner, pointing to the lamb curry, Hakka-style noodles, and sake sangria as favorites. Cocktails like the Rum Dynasty and Crazy Mango also earned high praise.
Overall, JiJi Asian Kitchen stood out for us, from the family style dinners to the casual lunch, and it’s a spot we’d suggest other cruisers not miss.
