Carnival Splendor Deck Plans

Carnival Splendor has 13 passenger decks filled with fancy amenities and great views. You’ll see that this isn’t just an ordinary cruise ship.    

From the moment you step onto Deck 1, the first level for guests, to your arrival at the top on Deck 14, every part of this floating paradise invites you to have fun and explore.    

Carnival Splendor was ordered by Costa Cruises as a Concordia-class vessel. During its construction in 2008 in Genoa, Italy, the ship was transferred to operate for Carnival. Carnival Splendor started sailing in 2008 and last renovated in 2017.

• Dining Room Breakfast 

In the main dining room, guests can enjoy a variety of delicious options. Cruisers can have eggs cooked any way they like, pancakes, waffles, or French toast with unique flavors like vanilla or pecan. There are also breakfast standards like oatmeal, granola, fresh fruits, and cereals. If passengers are short on time, there’s an express option that includes all the classic breakfast items.

• RedFrog Pub 

RedFrog Pub is a relaxed and lively pub inspired by Key West. You can try Caribbean food, play foosball, listen to live music, and enjoy our special beer, ThirstyFrog Red. 

• Atrium  

The Atrium is the perfect spot to enjoy the lively atmosphere. There is always music playing here, whether it’s a live band or a DJ, and passengers can join events or have a drink at the bar anytime. The Atrium also houses the Guest Services desk, where cruisers can ask our fun experts any questions you have. 

• Circle C® 

The C in Circle C® stands for cruise, chill, and connect. It’s where teens aged 12 to 14 hang out, make friends, and do activities like dance parties, games, and outdoor movies. The activities are supervised by counselors who ensure teens have a great vacation.  

• The Alexandria Library 

Carnival ships have a library with a collection of books. If you prefer the sound of the ocean while reading, you can borrow a book and enjoy it outside. The libraries also have fun board games for families to play together. 

• Dreams Studio 

Dreams Studio takes professional photos of people on vacation. They help to find the best spots for photos. Cruisers can buy prints or digital files and choose from different photo packages. They suggest Elegant Night for black & white portraits of people dressed up. 

• JavaBlue Cafe 

JavaBlue Café has a variety of hot and cold drinks to satisfy coffee cravings. In addition to coffee, JavaBlue offers tasty baked treats that cruisers will love. 

• The Punchliner Comedy Club 

When you go on a Carnival cruise, you can enjoy comedy shows at The Punchliner Comedy Club without any extra charges or rules. The comedians on stage are professionals who know how to make you laugh, and there are shows for both families and adults. You can pick which shows you want to see. Check the daily Fun Times in your room for showtimes and plan your evening accordingly.

• BlueIguana Cantina 

The BlueIguana Cantina is an expert in Mexican food. They make delicious tacos and burritos with homemade tortillas and salsa. It’s a casual dining experience that will leave you wanting more. 

• BlueIguana Tequila Bar 

BlueIguana Tequila Bar is the place on the ship to relax and enjoy a frozen tequila drink or a cold Mexican beer. The menu has Mexican favorites like different types of tequila and Mexican beers. Passengers can get frozen drinks, cocktails, and margaritas by the glass or pitcher, and a special Mexican beer cocktail. This Mexican bar is next to the pool. 

• RedFrog Rum Bar 

The bar offers Caribbean rum drinks by the glass or pitcher, along with Carnival’s own beer, ThirstyFrog Red. The frog-themed bar is a fun place to hang out day or night. 

• Serenity Adult Only Retreat 

At Carnival, they have a special place called the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat. It’s a peaceful spot on the ship away from the noise and excitement. It’s the perfect place to reconnect with your partner, read a book, or simply do nothing at all.

• Lido Marketplace 

Lido Marketplace has a variety of casual dining options. You can find BBQ, a deli counter, a salad bar, an Asian station, and a pasta bar, as well as a spot where the chef serves a different surprise daily. 

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy favorite meals with friends or family for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Cruisers can also find soft serve, frozen yogurt, and fresh pizza available 24 hours a day at Lido Marketplace.

• Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse 

The Steakhouse menu offers premium cuts of beef and a variety of seafood, entrees, and gourmet appetizers. The wine list has received an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. Make reservations online after booking your cruise. Your meal will include an appetizer, salad, entree, side, and dessert.

• Mini Golf 

The course is designed for maximum fun for all ages, with interesting obstacles like a cactus, a treasure chest, and even a windmill. Every Carnival ship has a mini-golf course where you can enjoy the game and the surroundings, including seagulls.
