Carnival Cruise Line, like other cruise lines, has a loyalty program for guests. The Carnival loyalty program is called the VIFP (Very Important Fun Person) Club and has five levels based on points. The more points you earn, the better the perks you get.
Unlike Royal Caribbean, Carnival’s VIFP Club Loyalty Program doesn’t give free cruises or big discounts. But at higher levels, members get priority access to onboard venues and services. It’s easy to reach a high-level tier in Carnival loyalty program.
Here, we have details about the Carnival VIFP Club. You can learn how to join, earn points, and get benefits.
What is the VIFP Club?
The VIFP Club is a Carnival loyalty program and means “Very Important Fun Person” on Carnival cruises. Everyone who sails with Carnival is a VIFP, even if it’s your first time.
Members earn points for each day when they cruise with Carnival. The more someone cruises, the more points they earn, and the higher their status in the VIFP Club. This unlocks perks, starting with basic ones and getting better as you move up. Higher VIFP levels come with valuable holiday benefits.
How do I Earn Carnival VIFP Club Loyalty Program Points?
The Carnival VIFP Club has a simple point-earning system that makes it different from other cruise loyalty programs. You get 1 point for each day you cruise, and a 7-night cruise gives you 7 points. Your points add up over time to improve your Carnival status in the Carnival loyalty program. You earn points regardless of your cabin type or booking method.
You can also earn points through other opportunities besides cruising. Carnival may offer chances to earn extra points through promotions, contests, or sweepstakes. The most common and reliable way to earn points is by sailing on the cruise line. Some charter sailing and nonrevenue fares do not earn points.
