The restaurant also offers a kids’ menu where children aged 6 to 12 years are charged a reduced rate of $12.99 for both lunch and dinner and children 5 and under dining for free. An additional 18% gratuity will be added to the bill.

What is the Dress Code for Hooked Seafood Restaurant?

The Royal Caribbean Hooked Seafood dress code is casual, allowing guests to feel comfortable while enjoying their seafood dining experience. This means passengers can wear relaxed, comfortable clothing like nice shorts, casual pants, or sundresses.

If you’re a seafood enthusiast looking for a more specialized dining experience beyond the main dining rooms, Hooked Seafood could be an enjoyable and worthwhile option during your Royal Caribbean cruise. 

Royal Caribbean Hooked Seafood Reviews

As a seafood lover, Hooked Seafood on Symphony of the Seas has always been on my must-try list and it truly lived up to the hype. Whenever I plan a Royal Caribbean cruise, I always check the ship’s deck plan to see if Hooked Seafood is available because their wait staff is amazing and the service always feels extra special. 

During our sailing, lunch was available for booking and since Hooked Seafood serves lunch only on select sea days, I booked it right away. If you see dinner reservations online but not lunch, don’t worry. Lunch is still available on select sea days but it usually cannot be reserved in advance. 

When it comes to food, I cannot explain how good it was. Maybe I am exaggerating a little or a lot as a seafood lover, but both lunch and dinner at Hooked Seafood were truly amazing and full of flavor. 

For lunch, I started with the crispy calamari served with remoulade and cocktail sauce, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. For my main dish, I enjoyed the fish and chips, while Daniel tried the steak and lobster, both of which were excellent. For drinks, we went for the signature Aperol cocktail with fresh lemon juice, light and refreshing for the afternoon. 

We also tried dinner to enjoy more of Hooked Seafood’s offerings. We started with the Maryland Crab Cake, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, followed by the Royal Seafood Platter which was a generous mix of prawns, scallops, cod and mussels. For sides, we chose seasonal vegetables and coleslaw, both simple but delicious. Daniel also tried the Tito’s Handmade Vodka which added a bold kick before the main course, while I stuck to lemon juice. 

For dessert, we shared the chocolate brownie with salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, rich, decadent and the perfect end to our meal. 

Overall, we enjoyed both lunch and dinner, but I personally prefer lunch. The lunch menu is very similar to the dinner menu, maybe a bit limited, but it still offers almost all the same favorites. Lunch feels lighter, more relaxing and at a lower cost, while giving the same incredible seafood experience. 

If you are planning a Royal Caribbean cruise, I highly recommend booking lunch at Hooked Seafood on a sea day. It is worth it for the fresh flavors, attentive service and unforgettable seafood dishes.
